Dr. Trevin Stratton

Dr. Trevin Stratton is National Economic Advisory Leader and Partner at Deloitte. Prior to this, he was Chief Economist with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Ottawa.

Trevin is an award-winning Business Economist, specializing in Global and Technological change. He is an Advisor to both private and public sector leaders and has counseled senior Corporate Executives and Policymakers around the world.

Through his extensive experience building alliances among businesses, academic institutions as well as trade associations, labour and non-profit organizations, Trevin has been instrumental in shaping the public policy environment in Canada and abroad. As Chief Economist at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, he helps develop National Policy positions aimed at improving Canada’s economic performance and the competitiveness of Canadian Business.

Trevin’s Research has been cited in NATO’s strategic Foresight Analysis and taught at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and the Center for Homeland Defence and Security. He has held appointments as an International Scholar at Yale University’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, as an E.C. Harwood Fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research and as a lecturer in Politics, Economics and International Studies at the American University in Dubai.

Prashant Srivastava

Prashant Srivastava is Director, South Asia at Seneca College. Seneca is one of the largest public sector institutions in Canada offering 190+ career focused programs, with 100,000 learners and 9000+ International students from 150 countries..

Prashant oversees Seneca’s student recruitment and business development activities in South Asia. With a team of regional business development managers, he manages business relationships with 100+ recruitment, academic, industry and government partners in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and UAE. For past several years, Prashant has worked extensively in organizing international training programs of Indian Civil Servants in US and Canada. Since 2015, 300+ Indian Civil Servants have been trained at Seneca, on Public Sector Financial Management and Best Practices in Public Services.

Prashant came to Canada as an international student in 2003, after graduation, he started working for Vancouver Island University (VIU) and established VIU’s first overseas office in New Delhi, India, VIU- Center for Canadian Education (2007-10). Prashant worked at New York Institute of Technology (2010-12) and University of California, Riverside (2012-14) promoting US Higher Education in Asia, Middle East, North Africa and Canada.

Prashant has keen interest in international relations and international business development. He has facilitated high level government, industry and academia engagements between India and Canada and given presentations at several international conferences.

Prashant holds a Post-Degree Diploma from Vancouver Island University (BC, Canada) and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire (United Kingdom). He is a Member, Board of Governor, at Canada-India Foundation, Special Advisor-Skill Development at Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce and a Member of Canada India Business Council.

Jag Badwal

Jag Badwal is the Ontario Agent General appointed by Ontario Premier Doug Ford to strengthen trade and investments between Ontario, US and internationally. Based in Canadian consulate office in Dallas, he works with various stakeholders and government officials to plan, deliver business development strategies and initiatives for Ontario’s priorities related to investment attraction, export promotion, and research and innovation partnerships. Jag is also a special Advisor to Premier Doug Ford on International trade.

Jag brings over twenty years of advocacy, government experience and real estate industry association. He previously served as the President of Ontario Progressive Conservative Party where he provided strategic communications and leadership that oversaw party revitalization and the election of a new Leader who became the Premier of Ontario (Doug Ford).
Jag has a long track record of service on behalf of several charities and non-profit organizations. He is a recipient of the Ontario Volunteer Service Award and holds a Bachelor of Science from York University, Toronto.

Kanwar Dhanjal

Kanwar Dhanjal is the President & CEO for Just Instruments Inc, a Brampton based business since 2008. Mr. Dhanjal is an entrepreneur and a highly experienced technocrat from India with vast experience in the field of Industrial Instrumentation and Automation.

He is the past President of Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce (2017-18) and led a Business Delegation during their India mission to different parts of India. Kanwar Dhanjal is also a Director on the Brampton Board of Trade since 2018 and is Chair of their International Trade & Investment Committee. He has been associated with several other Organizations in various capacities and has been recognized with numerous awards.

Pranav Patel

Pranav Patel is a Barrister & Solicitor, Notary Public & Commissioner of Oath. He runs his own Law Office in Toronto under the name – Patel Law Office.

Pranav is a well-known name in the Indo Canadian Community because of his long term association with several prominent organizations. He is a Past President for Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce, Advisor and Coach at the Law Society of Ontario (Upper Canada), Mentor and Honorary Advisor, Faculty of Law, Ryerson University, Ambassador at William Osler Hospital and several other prominent Community and Not for Profit Organizations.
